I am a photographer, journalist and writer. In the images below you can see a few important details about me. You can see me in front of the camera for a school photo in 1970. You can also see my little dog Jezebel. I tried to name my business after Jezebel but the name was already registered...so I had to stick with my own name.  

 

First and foremost, I'm a photographer and what I want to do is provide my customers with the best possible images. I do have some other skills...I have a Masters of Journalism from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland. I do write feature articles when time allows, usually for the professional photography magazine Capture. You can see some of my work on the website at www.capturemag.com.au

In my career I've been a soldier, business management consultant, journalist and operator of a small business. I know what it means to rely on someone to get a job done, and get it done properly.  I've worked on the other side of the camera as a model - including this campaign for U Bank where I'm wearing a gold fibreglass 'wig' - and know what makes a shoot work smoothly. I've also worked on many film and video sets including the Robert Redford film 'Truth', and the Mel Gibson film 'Hacksaw Ridge', and know that time is precious to my clients. I don't waste time. 

 

Having said that, I like to have fun doing what I do, which is something I could not do in the army. So you can expect me to be easy to work with and helpful because I love taking on photo assignments. There is nothing more exciting than a new brief.

 

While I am saying nice things about myself, I should add that I am kind to pets, which is unsurprising as I love my little dog! I have a sense of humour that is quirky at times but it seems to keep people amused while I'm working. 

 

Each photography assignment is important. Every job is as important to me as it is to you. I don't claim any mystical powers to capture images, but I will listen to what you need and I won't let you down.
